Accordingly to the main objective of the project - European Human Rights Law for Universities of Ukraine and Moldova (HRLAW) No. 573861-EPP-1-2016-1-EE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP (2016-3090) co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union mobility funds two lecturers of Moldova State University, have attended classes of colleagues from University College Cork, discussed and analyzed the course programme of law.
Another important finding of the visit to University College Cork was collecting dates for to establish the Offices of Student Ombudsman and elaborate the Code of Academic integrity.
The experience of University College Cork colleagues inspired and motivated the MSU team to promote changes at Department of International and European Law. They found positive the strengthening the program of law education in the European Human Rights approach with the experience which was presented about legal protection of children rights and safe information space at the UCC Child Law Clinic.
During the session on Human Rights Activism and the Role of the NGO-s MSU team analysed the experience in elaborating User's Guide about implementation of UN Watercourses Conventions and found interesting that the courses have two components: the theoretical learning outcomes and the practical outcomes. This is a good practice to be considered also by the Law team, because on one hand it gives to students theoretical knowledge on lawyers environmental activity; on the other hand, it gives the possibility to students to practice on daily bases, with specific legal problems.
